Teaching

I am a firm believer in the importance of education in the world of music. I love to teach students of all ages in a variety of topics including composition, arranging, improvisation, trumpet, flugelhorn, and more.

I also love working with student jazz ensembles of any size and shape, especially when the band is playing my music! To that end, I am always open to commissions for compositions and arrangements tailored to suit the needs of any ensemble, including accommodations for unique instrumentation.
